Ford F-150 Truck Accessories for Fargo Work Truck

A client from Fargo, North Dakota, recently contacted Audio Garage to inquire about upgrading his 2018 Ford F-150 work truck with some accessories to make it more durable and convenient when on a job site. The client has owned several trucks over the years and was tired of the bumpers getting dented or ripped off. After looking through several catalogs and websites, we came up with a plan to make this truck tough and ready for any task.

Truck Protection Solutions

The new bumpers add plenty of additional protection to the front of the F-150.

Getting in and out of the truck is easier with the new N-fab steps.

We started the project by installing a set of Fab Fours Black Steel Elite front and rear bumpers on the truck. These heavy-duty bumpers are manufactured in South Carolina, and the front bumper includes a full grille guard to protect the lights and fenders. The smooth steel plate construction offers incredible strength and durability.

We added a set of N-Fab Podium full-length side steps to make entering and exiting the truck easier and offer some protection to the rocker panels. Finally, a set of WeatherTech mud flaps on the front and rear of the truck helps keep dirt and debris off the vehicle when traveling on dirt roads.

Work Truck Upgrades

Strobe lights were added to the front of the truck for additional safety

The client had very specific requirements for storing tools in the truck. We mounted a Highway Products Pickup Pack insert in the bed to provide secure storage for his tools. The Pickup Pack includes fender-mounted toolboxes and an enclosed center section for larger tools. The optional Truckslide ladder rack holds an Adrian steel conduit holder for the client’s unique tools.

To help make the truck more visible while on a job site, we added a set of Federal Signal front and rear strobe lights. The rear lights are mounted in the factory tail light assemblies, and the front lights are mounted to the grille. A HighLighter LED Pro light bar on the top of the truck adds 360-degree coverage.

Carpet and Seat Protection

To keep the interior of the truck looking like new, we installed a set of WeatherTech FloorLiners and seat protectors. The FloorLiners are made-to-measure floor mats that extend up the sides of the footwells to keep dirt and debris off the carpet. The seat protectors are made from durable polycotton and are water-repellant. Coffee spills and other mishaps won’t damage the factory upholstery.
