Long-Range Communication
The AutoStart AS-2386 includes two remote controls. The primary remote uses spread-spectrum technology to provide up to 5,200 feet of range under ideal conditions. This five-button, two-way remote confirms that lock, unlock and remote start commands have been received and executed by illuminating an LED and beeping. You’ll never have to wonder if the system received your request.
The second remote, called a companion remote, also includes five buttons but is a one-way unit designed as a backup. Both remotes have clearly labeled buttons for locking, unlocking, trunk release and remote starter functions.
